"Today is where your book begins, the rest is still unwritten!!"
I have been prayerfully preparing for a new season of learning in our home, and find that I'm filled with renewed joy and anticipation - Yeah!! This time last year, I was actively seeking relief of Conveyor Belt thinking, and so my plan was to Not plan. That attitude allowed us time to Detox, and reprogram, if you will. In the Spring of this year, we did a Six Month Purge, Ingredient #6. This allowed us to get rid of unnecessary distractions. We followed that with a Six Month No, Ingredient #7, which allowed us to prioritize our time and activities. As I began to think on a new season of learning, it was time for a Six Month Inventory, Ingredient #8. In "Leadership Education, The Phases of Learning", the DeMilles' wisely suggest we consider the following:
- What are his/her biggest interests?
- What are his/her greatest fears?
- What are his/her fondest dreams?
- What are his/her top needs in the next six months?
- What "can" I do to help fulfill those needs?
- What else do I need to know?
- What else "can" I do?

Fabulous thought today, Nanette! I am excited as we approach a transition to Love of Learning, with one or two of the children. Personal inspiration is so wonderfully empowering and personal! I love the idea of "living life with eyes wide open"...being purposeful about all that we do!
Ha Ha...I just realized that I said..."Personal inspiration is so wonderfully empowering and PERSONAL."! Ha Ha...Hence the word "PERSONAL inspiration. Sometime I crack myself up!:0)
Ranee, Thank you for the sweet words of encouragement and understanding, sometimes you crack me up too!! Are you willing to share the link to your most recent blog post here, I think we could all benefit from your detailed plan during this time of "gearing up"?
Sure thing, Nanette! Here is the link to my blog, where I describe some of the plans, systems and scheduling for our family!
